Powerful stories and projects I have had the opportunity to share.

Altoura 360 - Redefining the Future of Frontline Worker Learning

Altoura 360 is an immersive learning platform aimed at frontline workers and industrial companies. Users can easily transform standard operating procedures into rich immersive training experiences. My job as the videographer, was to share the benefits and strengths of the platform to prospective clients, existing customers, and social media. Such as this all-up introduction video showcasing the platform.

Altoura 360 - Creator Copilot and D365 Guides Export

One of my favorite styles of videos to make at Altoura, were small mini tutorials that had a conversational and more friendly tone. Bitesized pieces of content like this were extremely effective at presenting the software in a digestable and effective way to existing and prospective customers alike. I would storyboard, write the script, record the software footage, then do voiceover work while editing the video.

President's Banquet 2021 - Student Stories

In Spring of 2020, I worked with Northwest University students Hannah and Robert to create a piece for the President’s Banquet, the university’s largest fundraising event. I interviewed them on their time at Northwest and how it has changed the trajectory of their lives. Taking the stories of two individuals and crafting them into one video that tells a complete story was both challenging and rewarding.

In Jesus' Name - Northwest Choralons

After two semesters seperated and singing in small groups and only performing virtually, the Northwest University choir was finally reunited for this video of their performance of "In Jesus' Name". I organized, planned, and directed this multicamera shoot coordinating the audio team, video team, and over 100 students.

The Butterfield Legacy - Short Documentary

I created this short documentary about the legacy of Northwest University's second president, Charles Butterfield, for the Northwest University President's Banquet, where his grandson was receiving an award. I used archival photos, video, and audio, as well as modern footage of campus life to add context and interest to the performance of NU's current president, Dr. Joseph Castleberry.

O Holy Night - Northwest University Choralons - Virtual Choir

During the pandemic, I created 3 virtual choir performances, with this being the final of the performances. These projects required the most planning and careful execution in post production of any project I had done before. Each choir member's cellphone video had to be synced by hand and then arranged into their place in the video at request of the choir director. Having over 100 pieces of media playing simultaneously in a single timeline required organization, troubleshooting, and hard work to pull off the project.

Online Small Group Services -Overlake Student Ministries

From October 2020 to May 2021, I worked with the team at Overlake Christian Church's Student Ministries to create weekly content for their Wednesday night youth group that was meeting remotely via YouTube Premieres and Zoom. Each week we were shooting segments for the intro, fun game element, and message content. It was important to keep things fresh and fun in our production so that energy would carry over to the often Zoom-fatigued middle school and high school students.

Christmas Traditions Comes Home - Virtual Christmas Event

Northwest University's annual Christmas Concert at Benaroya Hall was cancelled in 2020, so using the previous year's music and bite-sized Christmas messages from President Joseph Castleberry, we were able to still deliver an amazing Christmas experience to the NU community in December of 2020. This was a great creative project that involved location scouting and set dressing, in order to give the viewer a Christmas Cabin experience.
